(L.A.) Tamara Alegria, 44, Died in a Homeless Shelter

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 44-year-old Hispanic female that occurred in a homeless shelter.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Tamara Alegria.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Toxicity

RIP TAMARA ALEGRIA (August 23, 1979 – April 10, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 9:28 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on June 14, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
