(L.A.) Angel Manjarrez, 35, Died at a Convenience Store

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 35-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at a convenience store.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Angel Manjarrez.

Born in San Diego County. Mother’s maiden name is Harlan.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Ethanol, Fentanyl, and Lorazepam

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 11:38 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the COD ruling on February 7, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.

The decedent appears to have been a missing person. There was a bulletin out for him in December 2022. At the time, the Sheriff’s Department stated that he had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and was on medication.
