(L.A.) Amir Pinto, 44, Died in a Vehicle

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 44-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a vehicle.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Amir Pinto.

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl

RIP AMIR PINTO (March 13, 1979 – July 5, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 10:28 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 30, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drug.

Most fentanyl deaths are accidental overdoses. This is a rare case of suicide by fentanyl.
