(L.A.) Alfredo Govea Reyes, 43, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 43-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Alfredo Govea Reyes.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Hypertensive and Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: Obesity

RIP ALFREDO GOVEA REYES (March 22, 1981 – December 5, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 4:15 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on January 28, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.

The government investigator had initially misspelled the decedent’s middle name as Goveo.
