(L.A.) Andre Balasanyan, 45, Died in a Tent

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 45-year-old male that occurred in a tent.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Andre Balasanyan.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Methamphetamine and Fentanyl

RIP ANDRE BALASANYAN (September 15, 1979 – December 5, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 8:02 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in March, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
