Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 71-year-old Black male that occurred at a train station.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Zannie Bowen.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Atherosclerotic and Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

RIP ZANNIE BOWEN (November 17, 1953 – April 9, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 3:11 a.m.

This was either a heart attack (myocardial infarction) or cardiac arrest.
