Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 79-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Wiley Newman.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Conditions: History of Hypertension, Heart Failure, Emphysema

RIP WILEY NEWMAN (February 9, 1944 – June 16, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 6:00 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 12, presumably after the results of tox screening came back.
