(L.A.) Wai Tam, 86, Committed Suicide

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of an 86-year-old Asian female that occurred in a vehicle.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Wai Tam of Walnut, California.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Drug Intoxication

Other Significant Condition: Probable Asphyxia

RIP WAI LING TAM (January 21, 1936 – March 12, 2022)

Her family says the decedent actually passed on May 11. It’s the policy of the ME/C to record the date of death as the date the body was found instead of when the death is estimated to have occurred.
