Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 57-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Victor Tilbury.

Height: 6 feet / Weight: 160 pounds

Hair: Blond / Eyes: Blue

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Sequelae of Oropharyngeal Cancer

RIP VICTOR TIMOTHY TILBURY (October 11, 1967 – June 2, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday.

The decedent appears to have been in the custody of LASD when he was brought to LA General Medical Center, where he died.

He had been arrested on May 23 in Lancaster on an assault charge.

This is LASD’s 21st in-custody death for the year.
