Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 33-year-old Hispanic female that occurred in a hospital.
The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Veralice Yanira Membreno Orellana.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Blunt Trauma

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 10:00 p.m.
The decedent was one of two people killed due to a hit-and-run collision by the intersection of Raymond Street and Penn Street in Pasadena. She was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead. Her male companion had died on the scene.
The two victims were in a Nissan Versa. They were hit by a white Lincoln Navigator.
Witnesses said two men got out of the Lincoln Navigator and ran away.
