(L.A.) Vanessa Muñoz, 39, Died From Polydrug Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 39-year-old Hispanic female that occurred at a private residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Vanessa Munoz.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Intoxication by the Combined Effects of Fentanyl, Phencyclidine, and Methamphetamine

RIP VANESSA MUÑOZ (May 5, 1985 – November 17, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 10:15 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on February 17, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
