(L.A.) Vanessa Garcia, 36, Committed Suicide… Really?

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 36-year-old female of Hispanic/Latin American ethnicity that occurred in a park.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Vanessa Garcia.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death A: Asphyxia

Cause of Death B: Hanging

Other Significant Condition: Thermal Burns

RIP VANESSA GARCIA (September 9, 1985 – August 9, 2022)

This death has been the subject of much speculation. A corpse was found in Griffith Park — hanging from a tree, and burning. Most presumed it was a man that had been the victim of a gruesome murder.

After the coroner / medical examiner came out with the ruling that the death was in fact a suicide, the son of the decedent claimed that his mother was likely bumped off by an “Armenian guy.”

As far as the authorities are concerned, this case is closed.
