Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 54-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Trent Rhone.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Toxicity

RIP TRENT RHONE (May 25, 1969 – January 26, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 7:42 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on April 25, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drug.
