(L.A.) Travis Brown, 38, Died in a Park

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 38-year-old Black male that occurred in a park.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Travis Brown.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Intoxication by the Combined Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

RIP TRAVIS BROWN (1987 – June 30, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 8, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
