Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 43-year-old Latino male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Samuel Romano. Born in L.A. County. Mother’s maiden name is Cisneros.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.

LAPD said the decedent was shot at around 10:30 p.m in front of the 7-Eleven on the southeast corner of Wilshire Boulevard and Witmer Street. Police found him collapsed on the sidewalk.
