Equihax

Equihax is the name of a second group of hackers claiming responsibility for the Equifax Data Breach of 2017.

This group would have been taken seriously if it hadn’t for a very simple mistake in the “sample” data they provided as “proof” of their access to the Equifax servers.

Bill Gates’s state of residence had the abbreviation WI, instead of WA for Washington. (See that post for the screenshot.)

To make it even more amateurish, the group “corrected” that entry and reposted a new png image to replace the old one.
