The coroner’s office identified the man as Sterling Singletary.

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, Alprazolam, and Lidocaine

The decedent appears to have been of mixed ethnic background. He was a Season 4 contestant on FETCH! with Ruff Ruffman. He was 12 years old when he appeared on the show.
A citizen’s arrest was made on January 4, 2025, alleging that Singletary had committed a battery misdemeanor.
