(L.A.) Stan Reza, 35, Died on the 605 Freeway

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 35-year-old Latino male that occurred on a freeway.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Stan Reza. Born in L.A. County.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Traumatic Injuries

California Highway Patrol learned at 2:19 a.m. that there was a collision involving a red big-rig truck and a black pick-up truck.

Apparently, the smaller vehicle ended up on its side with the driver trapped underneath. By 2:30 a.m., first responders found him unresponsive.

The decedent was a three-year member of the Los Angeles Fire Department. He was off-duty at the time of the incident.
