The coroner’s office identified the man as John Nabours.

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Trauma

RIP JOHN NABOURS (February 17, 1986 – March 22, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 4:31 a.m.

The decedent was found lifeless near the Artesia (91) Freeway in Carson.

California Highway Patrol officers had been contacted at around 4:15 a.m. about a body near the westbound freeway and the Avalon Boulevard exit.
