Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 66-year-old female that occurred on a street.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Shirley Decorte.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Traumatic Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday.

The decedent was fatally injured by a hit-and-run diver in the area of Third Street and Beaudry Avenue in downtown L.A. a few minutes before 4:45 a.m., which was when LAPD responded.
