Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 38-year-old Black female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Shaquanda Davis.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: Diabetes Mellitus

RIP SHAQUANDA DAVIS (January 20, 1986 – July 16, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 3:23 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in mid-October, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.
