Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 32-year-old Black female that occurred at a law enforcement agency.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Shannon Smart.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Sequelae of Chronic Ethanol Use

Other Significant Condition: Morbid Obesity and Uterine Fibroids
