The coroner’s office identified the man as Sergio Esparza.

Cause of Death: Probable Upper Gastrointestinal Hemorrhage; Etiology Not Established

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 7:12 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on January 18.
