Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 46-year-old Latino male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Sergio Esparza.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Probable Upper Gastrointestinal Hemorrhage; Etiology Not Established

RIP SERGIO ESPARZA (February 6, 1978 – August 30, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 7:12 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on January 18.

Note that there are multiple decedents named “Sergio Esparza” in public records.
