Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 58-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Segisfredo Carreno.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Sudden Cardiac Dysfunction

Cause of Death B: Atherosclerotic Coronary Artery Disease

RIP SEGISFREDO CARRENO (May 22, 1966 – July 16, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 3:38 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on September 9, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.
