RIP SARAH PARTEE (June 10, 1997 – October 10, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 11:59 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 20, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs. The DME ruled this as an intentional act and not an accidental drug overdose.

Atomoxetine, sold under the brand name Strattera, is a medication used to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and, to a lesser extent, cognitive disengagement syndrome.

Hydroxyzine, sold under the brand names Atarax and Vistaril among others, is an antihistamine medication. It is used in the treatment of itchiness, insomnia, anxiety, and nausea, including that due to motion sickness.

Mirtazapine, sold under the brand name Remeron amongst others, is an atypical tetracyclic antidepressant, and as such is used primarily to treat depression. Its effects may take up to four weeks, but can also manifest as early as one to two weeks. It is often used in cases of depression complicated by anxiety or insomnia.
