(L.A.) Salvador Medina Jr., 35, Died in Long Beach

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 35-year-old Latino male that occurred on a street.
The coroner’s office identified the man as Salvador Medina Jr.

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 6:33 a.m.
Firefighters from the Long Beach Fire Department had been called to the scene of a crash at around 6:20 a.m. near 7th Street and Terraine Avenue. Two people died from a head-on crash.
Investigators determined that a Honda Civic was speeding westbound on 7th Street when the driver lost control of the car and crashed into a Honda Accord.
The decedent was the driver of the Honda Accord.
