(L.A.) Elmer Ramirez Sosa, 20, Died in Long Beach

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 20-year-old Latino male that occurred on a street.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Elmer Ramirez Sosa.

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 6:30 a.m.
The decedent was one of two drivers killed in a head-on traffic collision in Long Beach.
Detectives determined that a Honda Civic sedan, driven by Ramirez, was going westbound on Seventh Street at a high rate of speed before losing control and veering into opposite lanes of traffic, colliding head-on with a Honda Accord, being driven driven by Salvador Medina.
