Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 12-year-old Hispanic female that occurred on a highway near Lancaster.

The coroner’s office identified the girl as Ruby Gabriel.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Trauma

RIP RUBY GABRIEL ( July 2, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday.

The decedent was with her parents and older brother when the crash happened.

The family was from Mexico’s state of Oaxaca.
