(L.A.) Rosa Zareaseisan, 45, Died on a Street

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 45-year-old female that occurred on a street.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Rosa Zareaseisan.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt Trauma

RIP ROSA ZAREASEISAN (December 3, 1977 – May 23, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 10:55 p.m.

The decedent was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver in Tarzana.

She was on her daily run and was at an intersection when she was hit by a vehicle, which kept going. This happened at around 10:30 p.m. on Reseda Boulevard, just south of the Braemar Country Club. She was less than two blocks away from her home.

Officers were called to the 4200 block of Reseda Boulevard at about 10:40 p.m. No description was available of the hit-and-run vehicle or suspect. Investigators collected evidence at the scene and believe the suspect was driving a black Land Rover based on the pieces of the vehicle that were left behind.

Update: The suspect surrendered to police the day after the incident.

In October 2020, Ramin Delavari filed a divorce lawsuit against Rosa Zareaseisan.
