(L.A.) Reyneld Gomez Orozco, 31, Died in Van Nuys

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 31-year-old Latino male that occurred in a vehicle.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Reyneld Gomez Orozco.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Trauma

RIP REYNELD GOMEZ OROZCO (February 6, 1994 – November 19, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made early Wednesday morning.

The decedent was an immigrant from Venezuela. He was driving a Toyota Prius at around 12:40 a.m. when his vehicle was violently hit by a speeding Scion FR-S, a car suspected of also having caused a collision 10 minutes earlier in Sherman Oaks.

He leaves behind a wife and daughter.
