Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 49-year-old Latino male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Raymond Lopez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Alcohol Toxicity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 3:34 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 3, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive. This is considered an accidental overdose.
