(L.A.) Raul Vasquez, 20, Died on a Highway

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 20-year-old male that occurred on a highway in Palmdale.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Raul Vasquez.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Blunt Force Injuries
RIP RAUL AMADO VASQUEZ (March 5, 2003 – September 28, 2023)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 5:44 a.m.
The decedent had been walking in the northbound left lane along Fort Tejon Road near Avenue S-8 when he was hit by a vehicle that also northbound in the left lane traveling approximately 60 mph. The driver attempted to swerve but was unable to avoid hitting Vasquez, who ended up being thrown and landed in the northbound left lane of travel. The driver immediately pulled and attempted to render assistance.
RIP Raul. I’m sorry that this happened. I hope you are at peace and with your brother Javi. You will be missed dearly but will be reunited with us once again in time. Your time came to soon here, so flourish wherever you are Raul, love you always Andrea
