Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 71-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Raul Chavez.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: Complications of Parkinson’s Disease

RIP RAUL CHAVEZ (February 20, 1954 – April 22, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 8:35 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on May 30.
