Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 41-year-old Latino male that occurred on a street.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Pedro Aguilar.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Effects

Other Significant Conditions: Hypertensive Heart Disease; Coronary Artery Atherosclerosis; Remote Myocardial Infarction

RIP PEDRO AGUILAR (February 9, 1983 – October 29, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 9:18 p.m.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

The decedent had suffered a heart attack (myocardial infarction) some time in the past.
