(L.A.) Olana Rashid, 31, Died From Natural Causes

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 31-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Olana Rashid.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Idiopathic Dilated Cardiomyopathy

Other Significant Condition: Dehydration

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 1:14 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in September, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.

Dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) is a condition where the heart becomes enlarged and weakened, impairing its ability to pump blood effectively. While dehydration itself doesn’t directly cause DCM, it can exacerbate underlying heart conditions and contribute to severe complications.

We do not know if the decedent was injected with synthetic mRNA.
