(L.A.) Donte Bryant, 36, Died in an Alley

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 36-year-old Black male that occurred in an alley.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Donte Bryant.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

RIP DONTE BRYANT (June 7, 1987 – May 30, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 7:13 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on September 17, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
