(L.A.) Nyasia Brown, 28, Died From Cocaine

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 28-year-old Black female.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Nyasia Brown.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Cocaine Effects

Other Significant Conditions: Idiopathic Cardiomyopathy, Hypertension

RIP NYASIA BROWN (May 26, 1995 – May 22, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 5:25 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 10, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the coke.

This is considered an accidental drug overdose.
