Los Angeles County is reporting the death of an 89-year-old female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Noyem Altunyan and listed her race/ethnicity as Middle Eastern or North African [sic].

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday.

This was either a heart attack (myocardial infarction) or cardiac arrest.
