(L.A.) Marvin Rivas, 29, Died in North Hollywood

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 29-year-old Latino male that occurred in a park.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Marvin Rivas.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Intoxication by the Combined Effects of Methamphetamine and Fentanyl

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday night.

The decedent was apparently found by LAPD’s North Hollywood Division, who had responded at 8:00 p.m. to the area of Whitsett Avenue and Vanowen Street by Whitsett Fields Park and the Hollywood (170) Freeway.
