Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 31-year-old Black male that occurred on a street.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Nordarrion Braswell.

Born in L.A. County. Mother’s maiden name is Johnson.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt Traumatic Injuries

RIP NORDARRION DARRELL BRASWELL (October 5, 1992 – August 18, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 5:45 a.m.

The decedent was one of two motorists fatally injured in a two-vehicle crash in the Vermont Knolls area of South L.A.

LAFD dispatched their firefighters and paramedics at 5:03 a.m. to 959 West Manchester Avenue.

The other victim was Carlos Rompich-Cobach, 54.
