Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 62-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Myron Saavedra.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Myocardial Ischemia

Cause of Death B: Atherosclerotic and Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Conditions: Medical History of Hypertension and Polysubstance Abuse

RIP MYRON SAAVEDRA (April 15, 1962 – August 16, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 5:50 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in mid-December, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.
