(L.A.) Miriosh Higgs, 48, Died on a Metro Train

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 48-year-old Black male that occurred on a metro train.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Miriosh Higgs.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Effects

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 16, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
