The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Megan Murphy.

Cause of Death: Laënnec’s Cirrhosis

RIP MEGAN MURPHY (February 2, 1978 – November 26, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 7:35 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on January 1.

Laënnec cirrhosis is primarily caused by excessive and chronic alcohol consumption.
