(L.A.) Maryuri Garcia, 33, Died at a Transient Encampment

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 33-year-old Hispanic female that occurred at a transient encampment.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Maryuri Garcia.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Ethanol, Fentanyl, and Methamphetamine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 1:35 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on September 19, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive from the lab.
