(L.A.) Deborah Young, 71, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 71-year-old Black female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Deborah Young.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: Phencyclidine Effects

RIP DEBORAH YOUNG (December 23, 1952 – June 18, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 8:40 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in August, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the PCP.

This is considered an accidental drug overdose.
