(L.A.) Marshawn Slater, 41, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 41-year-old Black male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Marshawn Slater.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine, Cocaine, and Phencyclidine Toxicity

RIP MARSHAWN SLATER (August 2, 1982 – September 5, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 6:55 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 28, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
