(L.A.) Amanda Kaylor, 27, Ended Her Life

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 27-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred at a residence.
The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Amanda Kaylor.
Manner of Death: Suicide
Cause of Death: Ligature Hanging

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 6:30 a.m.
The decedent was a single mother to a 3-year-old son. She had been in the news for being the ex-girlfriend of ‘Bachelorette’ contestant Erich Schwer. He had dated Amanda for a few months before breaking up with her over text so he could go on The Bachelorette for career opportunities. The two met on the dating app Hinge in January 2022 and had a whirlwind romance. It was in late March 2022 that he told her he was going on The Bachelorette. In a text Erich allegedly sent, he said, “I made a rash decision that was beyond selfish… Can we talk when I am back in L.A.?” sending her two dozen roses shortly after. Amanda agreed to meet up, but Erich never responded since he was filming up until a day before Season 19 aired. In a text, he wished her well and apologized by saying, “I am so sorry Amanda, what I did was terrible. I don’t expect you to ever forgive me.”
