(L.A.) Humberto Rivera, 30, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 30-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Humberto Rivera. Born in Fresno County.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl Intoxication

RIP HUMBERTO RIVERA (August 1, 1994 – March 13, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 3:58 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in early July, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
