Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 60-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Manuel Rivera Jr.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Decompensated Diabetes Mellitus

Other Significant Condition: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 4:42 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 20, presumably after the results of tox screening came back negative for drugs.
