Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 76-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Loretta Colla.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Probable Drowning

Other Significant Conditions: Medical History of Chronic Kidney Disease, Atrial Fibrillation, Atherosclerosis, Interstitial Pulmonary Disease, Major Depressive Disorder, Neurodegenerative Disease, Bronchietctasis [sic], Diaphragmatic Hernia, Congestive Heart Failure

Bronchiectasis is a disease in which there is permanent enlargement of parts of the airways of the lung. Symptoms typically include a chronic cough with mucus production. Other symptoms include shortness of breath, coughing up blood, and chest pain. Wheezing and nail clubbing may also occur. Those with the disease often get lung infections.
